PROGRAM

Pediatric Closet

The Pediatric Closet from Marian Regional Medical Center provided our program.  Representing the Marian group were Kerin Mase, Susan Rasmussen, Candice Monge, and Lisa Ray.

The Pediatric Closet provides support to High risk infants; the smallest of the small and the sickest of the sick

They have served over 300 children since opening on October 11, 2016.  It’s fun to see who is utilizing the closet.  They take donations all the time.  A lot of Adult Support services come by and give donations.  Completely in patient.  During the winter they launched a coat drive “Baby its cold outside”.  They collected three bins of donations including, 34 new children's  coats and 50 Baby blankets.  Lakeview and Orcutt Jr. Highs’ Girls Basket Ball teams also collected stuffed animals.

A check in the amount of $1,000 was given to the organization.
Quote of the week:

“Courage is being scared to death; but saddling up anyway”
