Ms. Jamie Foxen

Today's program was presented by Ms. Jamie Foxen. Jamie is the daughter of Rotary member Wendy Foxen and her husband Jim. Jamie spoke specifically to all the attending students about her journey through life and higher education after graduating high school in 2011. Her first venture was enrolling in the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). After a period of time at that campus she decided that fashion was not something that she wanted to pursue as her ultimate career, so she took a more conventional college approach and went to a junior college and then transferred over to Cal Poly as a third year student majoring in communication. Along the way she took time out to travel abroad and experience the world and it's offerings. Jamie's Powerpoint presentation was informative as well as entertaining. It really gave the college bound students in the audience something to think about as they start their journey to a degree and a working career. Jamie is now looking forward to walking the stage and accepting her BA degree in Communication from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on June 17, 2017. Thanks Jamie for a great presentation!
