FLAG SALUTE: Self Pledge of Allegiance

OCAF: Told us about the Orcutt Children's Arts Foundation dining fundraiser that will be happening throughout the month of May. Tickets are $20 apiece and can be purchased online. Contact Holly Edds directly for more information.
Girls Night In: Mark your calendars for Thursday March 29 for the annual "Ladies Get Loud" fundraiser. Mike Gibson has all the details.
Frank Ortiz: recently returned from a month's traveling vacation that involved baseball, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. They had a great time and I think that they're back for awhile. $100
Roberto Rodriguez: Was very thankful for the Santa Barbara County Fire Department for helping his friend after a motorcycle accident on Orcutt Hill. They did a great job! $50
Wendy Foxen: bragged on her 90 year old Mother-In-Law's recent birthday. She loves her very much and is happy to brag $90 this morning.
Mike Gibson: he and Marla celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary in Cambria. The weather was absolutely great and they had a spectacular time! $38
Chris Hastert: can't believe that he now has two boys that are 14 and 17. It wasn't too long ago that they were attending the YMCA pre-school (time flies) $31. Shannon Seifert also couldn't believe it and she matched the $31
Dan Blough: bragged $100 on his wife Peggy for setting a new personal record for YMCA fundraising. Shannon Seifert was also impressed and matched the $100.
Tim Seifert: was very tired this morning as he took his pet dog to the hospital last night at 2:00 AM!! Anyway, he bragged a negative $5.00surprise
Kevin Walthers: bragged on the beginning of baseball season by informing us that the NC Dinos were kicking off their season as well (does anyone beside Kevin care??frown) Thanks for the $25.
Ryan Swack: President Ryan jumped in with a brag about his Oakland A's - Go Oakland!!  $25

 No fines this morning
This morning's program was a true tribute to April Fools Day. First of all, the advertised craft talk by two of our members never materialized. Instead, a mystery 12 minute video was going to play in their place but due to technical difficulties, it never got off the ground. So the remainder of our program time was used by attending members to visit and talk about life and current events. Next week we should be back to normal.
Wishing you all a great Rotary week!
Just my opinion...
