Today Mayor Alice Patino gave an update on the City of Santa Maria

Regulating of Sidewalk vendors
City was forced to readjust and close offices to walk ins due to Covid
Central Coast Community Energy (3CE)
Digital & Road Signs to help minimize risks from Covid
Finance Department moved out of City Hall
Main Library to re-open
The new Toyota is near completion
The new Honda is 80% complete
California Truck Center on Stowell coming along
There are many other things are going on in the City to make the City grow
ADU's (Accessory Dwelling Units) are becoming a big thing based on State law
Soon there won't be any zoning
Local Control is going away
The State is now making the rules
You can bypass the Planning Commission and the City Council
Sacramento wants to do away with single family homes
 
 
I am avoiding anything political cause I don't wanna go to jail.
