ANNOUNCEMENTS:
 
 
St Joseph High School: A $500 check was presented to Amy Curti and her theatrical students who are preparing for the upcoming production of "The Music Man". Two of the students performed a song for our members.
 
Shoes For Students Poker Tournament Fundraiser: Saturday March 12, 2022 / 1:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased from Kate Ferguson or Terri Stricklin.
 
Roberto Rodriguz: Berto talked about the Boys & Girls Club "Kids Night Out" on February 24th, 2022. They have limited it to 50 adults and 50 children, so sign up today. Our club is helping to sponsor the event, so there will be no charge if you would like to participate.
 
Rotary Barn Party: Saturday May 14th. The event will be focused on a maximum of 300 attendees. Each member will be responsible for four tickets at $100 each. Every member will also get two tickets (no charge) for themselves and one guest. Wine auction donations are being collected by Berto at each Rotary meeting. Mark Jackson will be assembling his decorating committee in the very near future. If you would like to volunteer, please contact him directly.
 
Rotary Minute: This morning Martin Testa was the presenter of a Rotary Minute. Martin told us about his lengthy membership experience that began on 7-1-92 (almost 30 years if you're counting). He also fondly remembers the year that he served as Club President. During his time with the club, he has made many close friends and he looks forward to continuing for many years to come.
 
Lee Carrol: Needs suggestions for future programs. Please contact him if you have an idea.
 
Frank Ortiz: Coordinates the majority of our service projects. He's looking for members that would like to help out and volunteer. Please speak to Frank directly if this is something that you would like to participate in.

Jerry Schmidt: Returned from a nice little vacation that occurred around Phoenix, Arizona. During that time, they golfed, cycled and hiked. He had a great time, but he was also glad to be home. $25
 
Roberto Rodriguez: Was excited to report that the Righetti Interact Club helped refurbish the baseball field for the B&G club to use in the very near future. $25

PROGRAM
  
Esmeralda Mendoza
 
This morning Esmeralda Mendoza of  The Santa Maria Museum of Flight was our guest speaker. The museum was founded in 1984 and is run by a variety of qualified volunteers. The hours of operation are Friday thru Sunday from 10:00 to 4:00. The admission fee is $5.00 each and no reservations are required. The facility can be rented for private parties that can range from 200 to 600 participants. For more information please call (805) 922-8758.
