BRAGS
Jason Stillwell(Rotarian of the Month): Jason free-bragged on his wife. He met his wife, who is also very tall, at an event that had a lot of “Tim Seifert” sized people.
Jim Small bragged $30 on Chris Hastert who has arranged for the Air Force Demonstration Team to be present at the SM Air Show on Oct 12 and 13. This is premiere fighter team and who you contact if you want a flyover.
Randy Wise bragged $37, as today is his 37th wedding anniversary. Great planning 37 years ago Randy, getting married on Valentine’ day!
Jim Bray bragged $25 on Shannon Seifert and the recent YMCA event; it was great for Denise to be able to attend.
FINES:
Every Rotarian that attended and did not bring their spouse or significant other was fined $30. The list is too long for this space, but includes our President, and the author of this document...bummer.
PROGRAM
Produced by Kate Ferguson and Emceed by Mark Jackson
featuring
The Brides - (Three Michelles and a Mary) Michelle Newman, Mary Wise, Michele Jensen, and Michelle Francia
and The Grooms - Peter Newman, Randy Wise, Larry Jensen, and Jason Francia
Our program for the day was SM Breakfast Rotary's own version of the Newly Wed Game. It was a very memorable event, with much laughter, and a few embarrassing moments.
Kate Ferguson and Mark Jackson are to be thanked for organizing the event, and Mike Gibson for helping with the sound effects; although there were moments when Mike struggled with the "one job" he had been assigned.
Contestants responded to questions which included:
Who’s the better kisser?
If you could turn your partner into an animal, what would it be and why?
What did your wife wear on your first date?
Who’s the better dancer?
What signal does your husband give when he is in the mood?
What confirmed that she was the right person for you?
In the end, all couples received a prize and our thanks for a fun and entertaining time, sometimes at their expense.
