SEE International
"Restoring Sight and Transforming Lives"

SEE International is a non-profit organization based in Santa Barbara, CA. The organization provides sight restoration services to people without access to proper care. Eye surgery is a major component of what is provided virtually free of charge. Removal of cataracts is the most common procedure performed by the volunteer eye doctors. A typical program lasts five days and provides approximately 50 to 100 free surgeries to their low income patients. The programs are provided domestically as well as abroad. Eye exams, glasses and medicine are also included in the program. Over the course of their history, SEE has provided over 215 programs in over 46 different countries.
