Roberto Rodriguz: Berto talked about the Boys & Girls Club "Kids Night Out" on February 24th, 2022. There is still availability if you would like to participate Our club is helping to sponsor the event, so there will be no charge.
Rotary Barn Party: Saturday May 14th. The event will be focused on a maximum of 300 attendees. Each member will be responsible for four tickets at $100 each. Every member will also get two tickets (no charge) for themselves and one guest. Wine auction donations are being collected by Berto at each Rotary meeting. Mark Jackson will be assembling his decorating committee in the very near future. If you would like to volunteer, please contact him directly.

VTC Mardis Gras Reverse Drawing Fundraiser: Saturday February 26 - 4:30 PM @ Radisson Hotel - Santa Maria. $100 per ticket
8th Grade Community Interviews: After an absence due to Covid, the interviews will return May 16 - 19 at Orcutt and Lakeview Jr. High Schools. Adult interviewers are needed. Contact Holly Edds or Laurie Tamura for scheduling details.
Dan Blough Scholarship Fund: With the unfortunate passing of one of our most treasured members, discussion began about creating a Rotary memorial scholarship fund in his name. Pat McDermott presented assorted ideas to create and sustain the necessary funding. A small committee will be formed to iron out the details. All members present seemed to be in favor of it
Paul Harris Fellow Awards: Frank Ortiz presented Mike Moats, Shannon Seifert, Ryan Swack and Laurie Tamura upgrades to their Paul Harris Fellow pins to signify that they have achieved various levels of Rotary service. President James Thomas is pictured with them.
