BRAGS
Rotarian of the Month/Terri Stricklin: She used her free brag to praise her daughters for getting her motivated to do her Christmas shopping early (she is actually done already!?!?)
Lee Carroll: bragged $25 on the recent photo that showed four generation of family members. Thanksgiving got the whole clan together.
Mike Gibson/Laurie Tamura: were proud to announce that we were once again the recipient of a $13,000 grant from the Roy & Ida Eagle Foundation.
Jim Ventriglia: made sure that he bragged about Roxanne's recent birthday as well as their week trip to Mexico. Everything went well and they had a great time. $25
Doug Palmer: gave fellow Rotarian Tim Seifert a big "shout out" for helping him move out an ancient Volkswagen that's been sitting in his garage for many, many years. $25
Jack Gresser: just spent 3 weeks in Hawaii relaxing, playing golf and overall having fun. He even had time to hike and explore a semi active volcano. $50
Mike Cardona: bragged on Crystal's upcoming birthday (12/3). In honor of the day, he's throwing her a spectacular parade down Broadway that will also be broadcast on Channel 12. What a guy!!! $25
Judge Timothy Staffel: bragged on the club for donating $1,800 for kid's Christmas gifts. These gifts will be given to the children of parents that are currently serving time in jail or prison. $50
Tim Seifert: bragged on all his club workers that helped refurbish the Rotary float. The float is now looking good and ready to roll down Broadway this Saturday at the annual Christmas Parade. $25
Kerin Mase: was very proud to hear that our club made a sizeable donation to this year's "Mission For Hope"
campaign. $25
Gary Nemetz (prodded by Frank Ortiz): bragged $30 on his wife (and I also think it included his close friends, John & Marcia Travesito)
FINES
Carol Bradfield: Who knew?? Little did we know that we were in the presence of an award winning baker.
Good job Carol
Unfortunately, we didn't hear a brag, so now it's a $30 fine.
Kevin Walthers: was fined $30 for not bragging about winning a bunch of Cal Poly aparrell recently. Even though he wasn't at the meeting to do the bragging, that's still no excuse. Because she's behind, a $30 fine was levied anyway.
A Bunch of People: were fined $30 each for having their Christmas tree up and decorated already. I guess that's what we get for being organized and efficient.
