BRAGS

Ed Carcarey bragged about the SMVYMCA's long and successful history with the Day in the Park, which will now be conducted by the Downtown Friday folks.  This year's event will be held on August 14...Stay tuned for details.  $50

Kevin Walthers shared a family story about a recent trip to Texas, which apparently is only 4" from the sun, to attend a Celebration of Life for his aunt and her "divine guidance" to his successful educational achievements.  $100

Laurie Tamura had a frightening flashback when she experienced a technological disaster at a presentation, just like the one Kevin Walthers suffered recently.  It must've been a doosy! $50 to the Compassion Fund.

Suzanne Levy bragged that her daughter, whom they recently visited in Israel, got her "dream job!"  Looks like she and Ron will only have to travel to New York for their next visit.  $50

Patrice and hubby Gary Mosby had a wonderful 2 week vacation. $30

Shannon Seifert returned a favor to Mike Gibson and the Downtown Friday folks, Ed and Jaime, for assuming the Day in the Park duties! $100

Tim Seifert bragged about being awarded a 2nd degree black belt in Karate.  Here's a deep bow to this long-sought after achievement.  $50

 FINES

Mike Gibson took a couple of hits.  One for "not" having any announcements and another for his questionable parking skills.  $60

Jim Small managed to switch the thank you certificates given to Kate Ferguson & Rande Downer for their programs.  The truth of the matter is that neither of the receivers discovered the error until well after the meeting!  $30

Jerry Schmidt & Lee Carroll managed to have a meeting within a meeting.  Ooops!  $30 each

Pat McDermott!  Did anyone see or hear him at today's meeting?  $30

Wayne Miller managed to snag a platter full of meatballs while attending the recent Step Down celebration at Uliveto's.  Crime pays...with a $30 CREDIT.

PROGRAM
AHC RODEO TEAM

Tim Seifert presents a $1200 check to Rodeo Team Coach Karla Sanchez & Advisor Jim Glines

The AHC Rodeo Team and Club program is about the development of intercollegiate rodeo skills while instilling the values of responsibility, discipline, and integrity both inside and outside the rodeo arena. With the expertise and advice of a seasoned college rodeo coach, enthusiastic advising team, student collaboration, and community support, the club seeks to encourage and promote the preservation of our agricultural heritage and way of life.  Allan Hancock College is a proud member school of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA).

The Allan Hancock College Rodeo Team competes in a league of 11 participants from colleges and universities.  The Club relies 100% on funding from generous community supporters to support an annual budget of approximately $80,000.  All donations, memberships, and sponsorships cover the costs associated with collegiate rodeo - from funding our Head Rodeo Coach, Karla Sanchez, to covering practice and travel expenses for our competitors.  The AHC Rodeo Boosters is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, federal tax ID #95-3633048.

SAVE THE DATE:  SATURDAY, AUGUST 20, 2022 FOR THE RODEO TEAM FUNDRAISER
