BRAGS

Ken Bradley (Rotarian of the Month) - Ken is very proud of his son who recently joined a Mountain Bike Racing Team. He is only in middle school but works out with the Righetti High School team. He's doing extremely good and really enjoys it.

Jim Bray - bragged $25 on Jim & Arlene Peterson's Rotating Dinner. He and Denise had a great time.

Kate Ferguson - bragged $25 on Jim Bray for his recent oil field tour and $25 on Terry Dworaczyk for buying one of her husband's many expensive toys.

Mike Gibson - Mike had a few items that he bragged on. Teresa Reyburn (S.B. County Women's Association Award), Terri Stricklin (gift certificates for CALM waiters contest) and most importantly, he and Marla's 33rd wedding anniversary for a grand total of $100.

Jean-luc Garon - Something about a train ride, golf and an upcoming trip to France. The one thing that I did hear correctly is that he and Tanya celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary. $19

Martin Testa - Martin and Debi just got back from a trip to Mexico where they drove an off road vehicle approximately 1,700 miles in four days. They had a great time! $35

Tim Seifert - apparently he had a birthday, but was uneventful. It was worth.......$8 :)

Mark Bachman - his wife had a birthday and he also had a 19th wedding anniversary. He was proud to brag $100 total on both of those events.

Randy Wise - Randy & Mary also had a fantastic time at the the Peterson's recent Rotating dinner. $25

Dan Blough - bragged $100 on Kate Ferguson for helping him with a recent real estate deal. I didn't quite get all the details, but I'm sure that it was big.

FINES

Prez Peterson's Bone Trivia: Jim Small, Terri Stricklin, Jack Gresser (Losers - $30 each) Mike Moats (Winner - $10 credit)

Pat Mcdermott & Lee Carroll: They must know where Jim's "still missing" gavel is. $30 each

Valerie Moya: went on a camping trip and didn't brag about it. Uh-Oh........that will cost you $30

Carol Bradfield: recently hiked on the islands (I think it was the Channel Islands?). She wasn't here to talk about it, but Mr. Peterson fined her $30 anyway.

Carl DeRiso: Not quite sure if this is a fine or what? Carl is going to participate in the M.S. Challenge walk in Santa Barbara. He fined himself $50 to the challenge and Jim Peterson added another $20. It is for a very worthy cause, so it doesn't really matter where the donations come from.
PROGRAM

Trip To Guatemala

This weeks program was presented by Royce & Diane Smith along with fellow traveler, Pat. They recently returned from their annual 10 day trip to Guatemala. This year they ventured into the heart of the country and helped with the construction of a new school house. They also brought teaching supplies and a few fun toys for the children to play with and call their own. The Smith's always enjoy the time that they get to spend there and the people of Guatemala are always helpful and very appreciative. They are already planning next year's trip and urge all Rotarians to take the time (if possible) and join them. Our club always looks forward to the Smith's yearly presentation. If anyone is interested in the 2017 trip, please feel free to contact Mark Jackson and he will get you in touch with Royce & Diane.
