OCAF Chalk Festival: Saturday September 25th, 2021 - 10:00 AM- 3:30 PM On the last Saturday in September, Old Town Orcutt turns into an explosion of chalk art masterpieces, live music, public art, and community engagement.
 
 
 
Today's Rotary Minute: Mark Clarke spoke about the time he encountered one of his son's grade school friends at the Good Samaritan Shelter, where he was helping to feed the homeless through our Rotary Club. This event moved him greatly as his son's friend was a resident. He then thought about the many blessings that his family has experienced when compared to others that were less fortunate.
 
Rotating Dinners:  The schedule has been determined and everyone that signed up should have been notified. Now there's nothing left to do except "go have fun!!"wink
 
 
Betty Miller: Mentioned that PCPA has announced their holiday season and their holiday show will be A Secret Garden on Friday December 3rd. She will be sending around a sign-up clip board beginning next week.
 
 
Interact Update: President Lance Peretto spoke to the membership about the many activities that his Righetti High School club is currently involved with. He urged everyone to contact them if they have any community service projects that they could possibly help with.
BRAGS:
 

Kate Ferguson: bragged on Andy Caldwell for referring her to Shoes For Students contributors. $25

Jerry Walsh: bragged on his wife's new BMW and the new payments to go with it. $25

Terry Dworaczyk: was excited to announce that his wife successfully completed her recent chemo treatment. They also traveled to New Mexico to meet with friends. Hot air ballooning was also on their agenda. He also had a birthday! $150

Mark Bachman: Sent his son to college, watched a live Dodgers game, had friends in town for a reunion (Hitching Post was involved). All this was worth $100

Ken Bradley: and his lovely wife Brooke, celebrated 20 years of wedded bliss (or something like that). $20

Pat McDermott: had a birthday (64) and went deep sea fishing with his son-in-law and a few of his friends. He also announced his retirement starting on November 1st. $100
