Steve Brown
This morning Steve spoke to us regarding why he joined Rotary.
Frank Ortiz was his sponsor. He is retired and loves being involved with all the events that we are a part of. Breakfast time is his peak time. “Caring” is the main word that comes to mind when he thinks of our club. Favorite quote: “Treat people the same way that you would like to be treated”

PROGRAM

Future Of The Fair

Todd Ventura

Acting Executive Director Todd Ventura spoke to our membership about the state of the Fairpark, He was very frank and informative when he led us through the trials and tribulations of our prominent facility. Sitting on 34 acres, it plays host to a few yearly events as well as various “one and done” celebrations. It remains a big draw to our city when things go according to plan. Todd and the Board of Directors are trying different ideas and methods to help improve attendance and create more income for this worthy Santa Maria icon. For those of you that missed this meeting, I feel for you, as you missed a very good one. Too much information to put into this bulletin.
