Ted Ortega: bragged $100 on everyone that helped with the Operation Surf BBQ that Ted & Beth hosted at their home on October 21. Special thanks went to Terri Stricklin and The Hitching Post for donating the meat and our very own BBQ team for preparing it.
James Thomas (Rotarian of the Month): also bragged on the Operation Surf event and thanked the Ortega's for once again being great hosts.
Kate Ferguson: bragged on her and husband Arlen's 40th wedding anniversary. $40
Mark and Patricia Jackson: were very appreciative of all the love and support that the club showed during these last few weeks. In particular, Mark wanted to thank Ryan Swack, Chris Hastert and Pat McDermott for their help with details regarding his father's memorial service on October 22. Both Mark and his Mother Patricia bragged $60 each towards the compassion fund.
Randy Wise: bragged $50 towards the Righetti Interact Club, for helping out with this year's Spelling Bee. Interact member Cesar Valdez teamed up with Randy to represent our Rotary Club and helped bring the team to a sixth place finish (out of 30).
Lee Carroll: bragged $25 on Carl Deriso for taking very good care of him on his recent purchase of a Toyota Prius.
Jim Small: had a birthday and went fishing. He apparently had a great time. $50
Carol Bradfield: and husband Clay recently celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary. $34

NEW MEMBER INDUCTION
Pat McDermott performed another one of his famous good natured roasts of a new member of our club. This time the honor went to Anju Agarwal. Anju will be a great addition to our club and we all look forward to getting to know her better as she becomes more involved with our future projects.
