BRAGS

Rotarians of the Month / Debbie Blow & Randy Wise: Debbie was not in attendance but Randy had a big brag for his wife Mary and her bridal shower assistant Melissa Colon (McDermott). They put on a great shower for the "bride to be" Megan McDermott last Saturday.

Shannon Seifert: bragged on Craig Bernard's Easter bunny outfit (that he always wears every year - see below)
.
Pat McDermott: had two big brags. The first was on the bridal shower (see below) for his younger daughter (Megan) and the second was for learning that his much anticipated grand baby from his eldest daughter (Melissa) is going to be a boy!! That was worth a whopping $100.

Shannon Seifert: bragged on Ken Bradley's children for helping out with fundraising activities recently for Lexi Brown. They are both great kids and the Prez wanted everyone to know about it. Awesome!! $30

Tim Seifert: Tim and Dave Wright recently went to China Peak to get a little spring skiing in before it all melts away. They had a great time and encouraged everyone to give it a try. $25

Jack Gresser: recently returned from a trip to the holy land. He and his wife enjoyed Israel but he is happy to be living where he does. That was worth $25

Martin Testa: bragged on his seventh grandchild Emerson Grace who was born on St. Patrick's Day. He also bragged on the nice rotating dinner that was hosted by Mike & Michelle Buhring for a grand total of $50.

Lee Carroll: was excited to announce that his daughter Julianne is pregnant with a new grand daughter. He also did a "shout out" to Ryan Swack for arranging over night lodging for our guest speakers. $25

Kate Ferguson: also enjoyed the Buhrings rotating dinner. $25

Jim Bray: was extremely impressed with President Shannon's ability to get the club a $13,000 grant that will be used towards the scholarship fund. $25

Ted Ortega: was invited to the Buhring's rotating dinner but wound up sick. His wife Beth however, made it to the dinner and very much enjoyed herself. $25

Ken Bradley: was very proud of his children helping with the fundraisers that Shannon mentioned earlier. $25

Jean-luc Garon: recently celebrated his son's 17th birthday (time sure does fly)......$17

Ryan Swack: had good things to say about his recent vacation trip that he took with his family that encompassed Disneyland and Arizona baseball spring training. $50

Mike Gibson: also returned from an Arizona spring training trip with a few other Rotarians. $25

Carl Deriso: had an interesting Rob Ballew story to tell that involved Palm springs and a BBQ event. He saved the day and everything went according to plan. $50

PROGRAM

Angel Gowns for Dignity

This week's program was presented by founder Micci Robertson and volunteer Danielle Jarnesky. Angel Gowns for Dignity began in 2014. The organization accepts wedding dress donations and makes infant gowns for young children that have tragically passed away. The program was designed to help families heal from their horrible loss. The gowns can be used for laying the infant to rest or kept as a keepsake. The organization is constantly looking for donations as well as seamstress volunteers to help with their projects. For more information, go to www.angelgownsfordignity.org.
