BRAGS
Rotarians of the Month: Debbie Blow & Randy Wise - Debbie bragged on her outstanding O.U.S.D. Board members who are also members of our very own Rotary Club / Rob Buchanan and Jim Peterson. Randy bragged on his 8 month old grandson Nolan and also on good friends Pat & Cyndy McDermott for hosting a small combo b-day/dinner party at their home on Saturday night.
Michelle Jensen: bragged $25 on Kevyn Walthers and Kate Ferguson for speaking to the ERHS Interact Club. The kids found the talks very interesting and appreciated their visit.
Shannon Seifert & Mike Gibson: bragged $100 each for the highly successful YMCA fundraising campaign that was just completed. They wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who was involved and/or contributed to the annual campaign.
Mike Moats: was very excited to present our club with the new Kiwanian Trivia Trophy that our club won recently (Awesome job!! Mark Clarke, Jim Bray, Judy Mackey & Reggie Johnson). Our club gets to keep it for a whole year until of course we win it again the next time. That brag was worth $50.
Reggie Johnson: decided to brag $25 on forgetting his personal trivia trophy at the meeting last week instead of being fined for it later on. Word of advice: You better hang on to that from now on Reggie! :)
Andy Caldwell: recently returned from an extravagant, once in a lifetime vacation to the lonestar state of Texas. The sites were many, as he and the family took in one of the "Worlds Largest" gas/convenience stores in the USA (60+ pumps!!!!!) and the convenience store was almost as big as Macy's (rumor has it). After he calmed himself down from all the excitement, he felt that it deserved a $50 brag. Welcome back Andy!
Pat McDermott: Pat felt the need to pre-brag on fellow member Martin Testa, who on Saturday will compete in a Ti-tip BBQ contest at Presquile Winery. Apparently, 400+ tickets have been sold to the event. McDermott was so absolutely confident that Martin would win, he bragged a whopping big $10 on it????? (go figure)
Dan Blough: Dan has been feeling great lately. In fact, he and his wife were discussing the fact that he has steered clear of the ER and any type of major treatments for the last 12 months. Way to go Dan! That's most definitely worth a $50 brag.
Teresa Reyburn: Teresa had a fun birthday celebration down in the Santa Barbara area this past week. She and her friends had a great time shopping and enjoying the beautiful location. That deserved a $25 brag.
