It involved the Rotary convention in 2018 that she and her husband attended where they met Dr. Sashi (educator) from India that left a lasting impression on them. A District 5240 conference meeting that dealt with human trafficking, was also a program that she never will forget.

Hosts, more than guests are now needed to help get this program up and running. Time is running out, so please contact her ASAP.

PROGRAM

Ed Carcarey

This morning Ed spoke to us about Downtown Fridays, which he is in charge of. This event happens every Friday from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm from May 28 thru October 29. The event involves 70 vendors and a wide variety of musicians. This has been going on for the past five years in the Fallas parking lot. Ed told us that approximately 2,500 - 3,500 people attend each and every week. This event is designed to intermingle different walks of life to a fun social time that has a lot to offer each and every one of the attendees. With only a handful of celebrations left in this year, he encouraged all of us to make a concerted effort to try and attend before the current season is completed.

And the winners are..............Kathy Simas & Holly Edds
