Next Adventure
Kevin spoke to us today about an all volunteer organization that he heads up that focuses on troubled youth that need proper guidance and mentorship.
Approximately 23,000 young people age out of the U.S. foster care system each year. They are struggling to adjust to adulthood. Many are homeless the day they age out. They are dealing with trauma, high rates of substance abuse, mental health issues and extremely high rates of incarceration.
Kevin's organization trains mentors to help the youth strategize a game plan and then take practical steps forward towards their individual goals. If you would like to volunteer or make a financial donation to this worthy cause, please go to www.adventurenext.org for more information.
