FINES
Presiding Past President Mark Jackson (97/98) took a little different approach to fining our members. He asked each dining room table a variety of questions regarding Rotary and of course…..we all failed miserably. This resulted in 31 fines resulting in a $989 total.
What A Fundraiser!!
Good job Mark!

PROGRAM
Day of Hope
The staff and representatives of Mission Hope Cancer Center spoke to us this morning regarding the upcoming Day of Hope being held on Wednesday August 26. Presented by Dignity Health and the Santa Maria times, hundreds of volunteers will collect $1.00 donations in exchange for commemorative newspapers to benefit local cancer patients. Our speakers also brought us up to date on the many types of cancer that are currently being treated at the Mission Hope facility and the overall success rate of their patients. This will be a very worthy cause to participate in. If your schedule allows, please consider volunteering.
