BRAGS
Jim Ventriglia: Our Rotarian of the Months (Nov & Dec) "freely" bragged about his recent trip to Las Vegas with a few of his friends from high school. My understanding is that wives were also included and that everyone had a fantastic time. Although we will never know the details because "what happens there...stays there!"
Jerry Walsh: He went to Australia (and that's all he said). Apparently "what happens down under, stays there as well". Anyway, we are very happy to receive his $50. Thank you Jerry!
Teresa Reyburn: Teresa recently returned from a trip to Italy with some good friends. She enjoyed herself very much, although she did say that she got lost in Tuscany. Apparently she found her way, because she made it home. Welcome back and thank you for the generous brag of $75 to the Compassion Fund.
Mark Clarke: Mark made a business trip to Boise Idaho, where he had a chance to visit with former members Bob & Marcy Freidlein. He had a nice time, although he did say that it was very cold and windy (which he wasn't used to). $25
Ryan Swack: Ryan recently had a birthday as well as took his family to Disneyland. Combined, that was worth $50.
Dale Johnson: He bragged on his daughter flying in to visit from London, England. He also asked everyone to keep Chuck Halsell in their prayers as he is undergoing another back surgery in the near future. $20
Kristine Mollenkopf: Kristine also made it back from Las Vegas. Something about a Cigar Officianado Expo?? Her and husband Jeff had a great time (and that's all that counts). That brag was worth $50. Thanks Kristine!
Laurie Tamura: Laurie went to the Queen Mary and made two trips to Disneyland with her husband and her two 30+ year old sons. They had a blast and enjoyed every minute of their family experience. Laurie bragged a generous $50 for the great time.
FINES
Fine Frenzy: President Shannon started off the the fine section of the meeting with a barrage of names that were spouted out so quickly that this reporter could not even write them down fast enough. My best guess is there probably were about 15 to 20 names mentioned worth $30 each. All I know is that my name was not one of them :)
Ken Bradley: Ken didn't mention anything about his dog bringing into his home a dead possum (a present of course) to be discovered first thing in the morning. There was a question whether this should be a brag or a fine, so $15 goes to each for a total of $30.
Mike Gibson: Not quite sure what's going on with Mike's facial expression here, but it was worth a $30 fine. Terri Stricklin was fined $30 via collateral damage.
Rob Buchanan: Rob is going to miss this year's Christmas parade. As a result, he was fined $30 by Prez Seifert.
Mike Moats & Dave Wright: Do two blondes make a Wright? Not quite sure, but it cost these two $30 each.
