BRAGS:

Monthly Rotarian of the Decade: Terry Dworaczyk bragged on the fact that a few short years ago; he packed an additional 40 lbs......  He also bragged on his cycle ride to Yosemite.  Looking good Terry!

Mark Clarke: Even though he had a CalPoly football neighbor, we think he bragged on OSU's 45-7 win in Corvalis.  He named dropped the 'Angry Beaver Brew Pub' a couple of times.  $38.  Use the football score and do the math....

Kevin Walthers: Bragged on Pat McDermott for helping a 'friend' get to an Earth Wind and Fire Coneert.  As the story goes,  the tickets were 'significantly' discounted; and Kevin still owed Pat $8.  Pat was determmined to get the $8.  Kevin took care of him.  $25

Mike Buhring: Been pretty hectic at work; but was able to get over to AHC only to get poked in the eye at a liberal gathering.  $25

Frank Ortiz: bragged on the Club's support at the recent CASA fundraiser at the Chumash Resort.  About $8K was generated from our Club and event attendees.  He thanked the Cardona's Carroll's, Stilwell's, Staffel's, Testa's, Ortega's, Ferguson's, Newman's, and Blough's for their generosities. $50

Mike Moats: A short simple brag of $71 that covered his birthday atg the Raiders game and an evening at Presquile to top it off.

Terry Stricklin: Spent her birthday with family and friends in Claremont.  The Dodgers and Disneyland was involved.  She bragged $39.  Hmmmmm

Mark Jackson: Finished his Switzerland brag and talked about the great time the Jackson extended 'exchange' family had tpgether.  Mark was especially appreciative of the extra week that he and Debra took to 'relax'.  $75

Kathy Simas: Bragged $50 on their vacation in Aptos.  She didn't offer much detail, but she evidently enjoyed her time.

FINES:

If anyone was fined; the Bull-A-Ton editor didn't hear.  Not Paying Attention (NPA)!

50/50 Draw:  Carol Bradfield and Mark Bachman
 Program

Operation Surf
Van Curaza

What an outstanding Program this morning provided by Van Curaza and Mackenzie Raha.  This year, Van discussed how the program is growing.  Van wants to grow slowly and keep things as simple as they can.  They are focussing with on-going services and alumni services.  There are many ways to help.  The following links will take you to their website and to a couple of YouTube shorts.

Our Club will be hosting about 40 or so veterans, some surfers and some volunteer staffers, to a dinner at the Ted and Beth Ortega residence on October 3.

The Club presented Operation Surf with a check for $3,500 at today's Club Meeting.
