Rotarian of the Month - Mike Cardona, who keeps us well fed!
Mike bragged on Randy Wise for teaching attendees at a recent pizza party how to make a round pizza. We heard that Pat McDermott, has a redo on his pizza assignment.
Wendy Foxen: "A brag and a fine, all combined into one!" She has a brand new Honda - that's the brag for $50. Then she reminded us of a recent meeting where we learned that her daughter won a brand new Fiat on the Price is Right. The Fiat is now for sale. Betty Miller: bragged $50. She and her husband just returned from Alaska where they have been on vacation for 3 months..... spectacular.
Ken Bradley: bragged $30. He recently attended a family reunion, and was on vacation with family to Atlanta, Pennsylvania, and New York. He was then on a business trip through Dubai in route to Oman.
Andy Caldwell: bragged $50 on a recent trip to the Carolinas, where he went furniture shopping with his wife. He went on to brag another $100. He was a guest at the Chumash resort - the new facility is phenomenal, and a real boon for the community.
Carol Bradfield: bragged $50. She recently returned from Trinity with Dave and his grand kids. She also went to Costa Rica with her husband.
Randy Wise: bragged $25 on Mike and Crystal for inviting them over for a Pizza Party
Valerie Moya bragged or was fined $100? Heritage Oaks Bank received the large business of the year awards at the Santa Maria Valley Chamber Awards dinner.
Pat McDermott: Bragged $10 on the Pizza Party at the Cardona house. His pizza is rumored to have been in the shape of Florida.
Mark Jackson: Bragged $30. He is back from 3 days in Reno and Lake Tahoe, where he was attending a reunion with a foreign exchange student.
Craig Bernard: Bragged $20 on how it was fun to see local people compete in the Olympics.
FINES
Laurie Tamura, was fined $30 for giving Teresa Reyburn a hard time about her attire.
Kate Ferguson, fined herself $30 for selling raffle tickets for the Shoes for Students fund raiser.
Two teams competed in a Trivia Contest
Mike Moats and Shannon Seifert answered their questions incorrectly and were fined $30 each.
Rich Watson and Jim Small answered their questions correctly, so were only fined $15 each.
