PROGRAM

Dawn Jackson
Santa Maria Public Library

This morning we had the pleasure of having Dawn Jackson speak to us about the library and all of the wonderful things it has to offer. These include but aren't limited to the following subjects. Early learning programs, readiness education, homework help, online resources and programs for all school age children. Teens are especially welcome with a Board Of Library Teens, academic support with a wide variety of activities and volunteering opportunities. There is also a focus on adults with quality of life resource programs and literacy and employment support. Other resources include passport assistance, digital and streaming materials and laptop computer loans. All in all, it was a great presentation and our club was proud to present her with a check (pictured above) for $1,000 to further the goodwill of the library.
