The Santa Maria Breakfast Rotary Club recently received a District 5240 matching grant for overall maintenance and improvements needed at Rotary Centennial Park. The Club identified the need to refurbish the Park Clock which had fallen into disrepair over the years. With support of the District Grant, our Club will be able to remove, dismantle, and completely refurbish the clock. In the next Rotary year, we will be able to re-assemble, and package the clock for transportation back to the park with the proper installation needed for long-term service.

2024 Refurbish Time
The original partnership for Rotary Centennial Park with the City of Santa Maria and local Rotary Clubs was conceived in 2003; and was done in recognition of the fact that the City and Rotary International were celebrating their Centennials in the same year, 2005. As part of the World-wide Rotary Centennial project effort; the local Santa Maria Rotary Clubs decided to assist in the development of the park site in a manner that would attract Youth, Families, Seniors, the Arts, and Athletics.
